Cancer Biology
Cancer biology deals with the mechanisms that trigger essential processes such as cell growth, metastasis, of cancer cells. Cancer biology is studied in many organisms, from the discovery of genes associated with the development of cancer in humans to the explanation of basic cell biological process that gets affected at the time of tumorigenesis. Cancer biology investigation study includes tumor microenvironment, angiogenesis, apoptosis, metastasis, transcription, invasion, oncogenes, Cell adhesion, gene expression, cancer stem cells, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, , immunotherapy, biomarkers, resistance to therapy and tumor modeling.
